I dont like Muscle milk because of the amount of fat that it has in it I keep reading about the fat in Muscle Milk being "good fat" that is immediately used for energy rather than being stored as fat. Did the Muscle Milk not have this effect on you? I am curious, as I've seriously considered Muscle Milk but also am afraid of the high fat content...

I know im not big stew, but
Muscle milk is loaded with fat, and although there Lean Lipids have the majority of healthy fats, they still contain 9 calories for each gram. They may raise body temperature and increase calorie burning, but the amount needed to do this is smaller for most people than the amount of overall fats in one serving of muscle milk. If you like muscle milk, which most do, just make sure your macro's are in line and work it in to fit your diet and you will achieve your goals. Personally I only use muscle milk if I get a sample of it and want it as a cheat meal.

Great responce and is very true but not the reason I dont take Muscle Milk Beacuse MM has so many grams of fat the digestion is slower than regular 100% whey becasue fat makes stuff digest slower so I would not have it postworkout because you want a fast digesting protein and carbs. For me MM would be best used in the offseason between meals but I dont really do many of those. Like whole food more than shakes

Hey everyone, just thought I'd post that I used First Order and Tight Curves this past weekend when I was competing in the Arnold 5K Pump & Run. Placed 2d overall. I'll post more details in my bb.com workout journal, once I get it written.....
