Ok say someone tells you guys they want a Pic of you for an add or something and they need it ASAP. What are some strategies you guys use to dry up and tighten up relatively quickly. I know it would be preferable to have at least a week to get everything together, but it doesn't always happen that way.

Well, first of all I'm sure you know already that if you are in any kind of position where you will have to do photo shoots on a semi-regular basis, unfortunately you are gonna have to walk around pretty lean. Sadly, I am in that same boat these days, so I'm not able to eat/drink like I used to when I was playing soccer and burning a bazillion calories a day!! What works for me is having one cheat day a week, to keep me sane... The rest of the week, however, has to be pretty strict to stay in the very low, photograph-ready body fat zone. But to attempt to answer your question for a last-minute tightener: you can always try the age-old fighter's plan of shedding some water! Of course it depends how dire your circumstances are, but wearing the plastic suit and getting into the sauna room is a good start. Once in there, some shadowboxing (yes, other patrons will think you are crazy-- which is natural, because we are crazy, but money talks, right? , jumping jacks, squat thrusts, etc. will help you shed faster. The key here is discipline. It is not the healthiest for you, but you cannot intake water and you need to spend enough time in there to make a difference. The best thing is to bring someone with you who will help you stay there when you want to leave. I suggest someone bigger than you!! And don't worry, you will recover very quickly after the shoot. Anyway, I'm sure this is basic stuff that you already know, but I thought I would throw in what works for me. Unfortunately for all of us in the industry, there is no miracle secret for looking great fast! The look you have is earned in the weeks prior to your event. Good luck!

Yeah, I kind of got hosed. I am right at the end of my bulk and although I have stayed pretty lean I am holding a lot of water and I was told that i was to send in a update pic within 24 hours. It looked horrible, pale as could be, smooth, and bad haircut the boot. I just started my maintence / light cut today so hopefully I will dry up in the next week a little bit. Thanks for the sauna recommendation though, Hopefully i will never get in that jam again but if i do i will have this up my sleeve in desperate times.
