With weight I have been doing I do a Combo of Simple and Complex Carbs. 2 table sthingys of Honey in my protein shake. The Honey is a simple carb also I have 1 cup of oat with blueberries those are my complex carbs. I like the Simple carbs to help spike my insulin and drive the amino acids(from my Protein shake) and the gylcogen (from my carbs) into my muscles and help replace what I have lost and Hope spark some hytrophy. I dont View cardio as a workout so I just eat the next meal when it is time to. Not Post cardio meal for me. Only thing I do is sip on so BCAA's during the cardio

After training I have two (salt free) rice cakes. I dip them in a 'protein powder dip' (1/2 scoop pp with little water, 1pk splenda)

I take in a post-workout drink that contains a significant amount of carbs. After about a hour, I consume a carb filled meal with some pasta.
